In close cooperation with select external partners, the Bertelsmann University offers targeted programs for strategic business development, sets new impulses and provides executives with an opportunity to extend their personal leadership skills and resources. Our strategic partners include Harvard Business School (USA), INSEAD and HEC (France), ESADE (Spain) and ESMT (Germany). The University also serves as the cross-divisional learning platform within our decentralized organization to provide continuity and support change. 

The structure of the Bertelsmann University Program Portfolio reflects the Group’s decentralized structure. International Programs address themes that are relevant across national and organizational boundaries. These programs are organized and conducted in English and are available to participants from Bertelsmann worldwide. Regional Programs, while sharing the same basic concept, emphasize regional topics and are conducted in the respective national language.  

Program content and desgn is closely coordinated with the Group's executive board, divisional HR Management and other internal stakeholders. Members of the board contribute personally to content development and give regular talks in the programs. This provides participants with an opportunity to engage our senior management in a face-to-face discussion. Bertelsmann University reports directly to the corporate head of Human Resources. 

Program participation is possible only through nomination from Bertelsmann divisional HR management.
